Refund & Payment Policy
Last updated: 09.01.2026
1. Deposits
1.1 A deposit (typically 25% of the project value) may be required to confirm your booking and allow us to order materials.
1.2 Deposits are generally non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has started, except where required by law or where we agree otherwise.
2. Balance Payments
2.1 The remaining balance is payable as set out in your quote or invoice (e.g. on completion or in stages).
2.2 Failure to pay on time may lead to delays, suspension of work or additional charges.
3. Cancellations and Changes (Consumers)
3.1 If you are a consumer and the contract is concluded at a distance (online/phone/email), the Consumer Contracts Regulations may give you a limited right to cancel within 14 days for certain types of contracts.
3.2 However, where services are made to your specification, involve bespoke planning and installation, or you have expressly asked us to begin work within the cancellation period, your right to cancel may be limited. We will explain this clearly in your quote or contract.
3.3 If you ask us to start work (e.g. surveys, design, ordering materials) before the end of any statutory cooling-off period, you may be required to pay for the work completed and any materials purchased if you later cancel.
4. Cancellations and Changes (General)
4.1 If you wish to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.
4.2 If we have already incurred costs (for example, ordered materials or allocated installation slots), we may deduct these from any refund or ask you to cover them.
4.3 If we must cancel or reschedule due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. supply chain issues, staff illness, severe weather), we will inform you promptly and offer a new date or a refund of any amounts paid for services not delivered.
5. Faulty Work or Products
5.1 If you believe there is a defect in workmanship, please refer to our Warranty Terms and contact us.
5.2 If a product is faulty or misdescribed, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including potential repair, replacement or refund.
6. Refund Processing
Where a refund is due:
we will process it within 14 days of agreeing the refund or of receiving returned goods (where applicable), in line with UK distance selling rules.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
